{"id":280,"date":"2011-03-30T01:41:39","date_gmt":"2016-09-05T15:35:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/heakodanik.ee\/en\/ngo-sustainability-index__trashed\/"},"modified":"2020-04-07T10:41:38","modified_gmt":"2020-04-07T07:41:38","slug":"ngo-sustainability-index","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/heakodanik.ee\/en\/ngo-sustainability-index\/","title":{"rendered":"NGO sustainability"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5>The NGO Sustainability Index for Central and Eastern Europe and Eurasia is a tool used by USAID&#8217;s Bureau for Europe and Eurasia to study the strength and overall viability of NGO sectors in each country in the region, from the Baltics to Central Asia.<\/h5>\n<p>The annual NGO Sustainability Index is the Bureau for Europe and Eurasia&#8217;s premier instrument for gauging the strength and continued viability of the region&#8217;s NGO sectors. The Index analyses seven different dimensions of the NGO sector: legal environment, organizational capacity, financial viability, advocacy, public image, service provision, and NGO infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>Taken together, these dimensions provide a basic description of what a sustainable NGO sector should look like. Individually, these dimensions provide Missions, implementing partners and other international donors with a reasonable measure of impact over time, and a basis for identifying both needs and opportunities in a strategic planning process.<\/p>\n<p>NENO has been helding expert panels&nbsp;for Estonian index&nbsp;for years.
