On 5 February, NENO and President Alar Karis presented awards to the civil society actors who stood out for their work and achievements in the past year.
“NENO has been awarding the Civil Society Makers of the Year since 1996 – and the continuation of this tradition is a symbol of the perseverance of the civil society,” added Triin Toomesaar, Head of NENO. “The belief in the possibility of change, but also the consistent courage to take responsibility for creating that change, is perhaps what makes this year’s winners special.”
