On February 28th the Good Citizen Club will organise its first discussion in English, entitled “Civil Society: Growing from Reactive to Proactive”.
The speakers will be Douglas Rutzen (The International Center for Not-for-Profit Law), Stian Slotterøy Johnsen (Association of NGOs, Norway) and Mari-Liis Jakobson (University of Tallinn). The discussion will be moderated by Kristina Mänd.
Doug Rutzen will be sharing his vision of the legal framework that ensures a sustainable civil society, Stian Johnsen will draw from his experience on making citizens work for a common cause, and Mari-Liis Jakobson will analyze on how these experiences can be put in practice in Estonia.
The event takes place on February 28th, 17:30-19:00 at the Architecture Centre (Põhja puiestee 27a)
