Mis on Euroopa vastus terrorismile? Tule konverentsile 30. märtsil

Neljapäeval, 30. märtsil toimuval konverentsil “Euroopa vastus terrorismile” räägitakse Euroopa Liidu liikmesriikide koostööst terrorismi vastu võitlemisel ja radikaliseerumise ennetamisel.

Millised suuremad väljakutsed seisavad julgeolekuasutuste ees lähema viie aasta jooksul? Mida teha radikaliseerumise vältimiseks, millised on valdkonna senised suuremad õnnestumised ja õppetunnid? Need on küsimused, millele konverentsil vastavad nii Euroopa Komisjoni julgeolekuliidu volinik Julian King, siseminister Andres Anvelt kui ka mitmed tunnustatud eksperdid Belgiast, Ühendkuningriigist, Prantsusmaalt, Rootsist ja Eestist.

Konverents toimub 30. märtsil kl 14–18.30 Radisson Blu Sky hotell Tallinna konverentsikeskuses Rävala 3, 2. korrus. Konverents toimub inglise keeles, publikul on võimalik esinejatele küsimusi esitada.

We have the pleasure to invite you to the conference “European response to terrorism” on Thursday 30 March from 14.00 to 18.30 at the conference centre of the Radisson Blu Sky Hotel in Tallinn (Rävala 3, 2nd floor).

The terrorist attacks in recent years have strengthened the cooperation between the EU Member States in combating terrorism and preventing radicalisation.

What are the main challenges the security authorities are facing over the next five years? What can we do to prevent radicalisation and what are the greatest successes and lessons learnt so far in this field? These are the issues we will be discussing with EU Commissioner for the Security Union Julian King, Estonian Minister of the Interior Andres Anvelt and several recognised experts from Belgium, Estonia, France, Sweden and the United Kingdom.

The language of the conference is English and the audience will have the opportunity to put questions to the speakers.
